SYNDICHQ

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Version 3

1. Who we are and what this covers

SYNDIC HQ is a content operations platform provided by Real Operations, LLC ("we", "us"). It helps organizations plan, produce, review, schedule, and distribute social media content. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SYNDIC HQ (the "Service"). By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to them.

These Terms incorporate, by reference and as if set out in full: our Privacy Policy, which is the canonical statement of how we collect, use, share, retain and delete information, including our data retention and deletion commitments; our Fair Use Policy, which governs reasonable use of production allowances and automation; the acceptable use rules in section 7; and the AI product terms in section 8. Accepting these Terms means accepting those documents. The version of each document published at the time applies, and where a change to a document requiring acceptance is material we will ask you to accept the new version.

2. Workspaces and accounts

The Service is organized into workspaces. A workspace holds your business profile, brand rules, content, connected accounts, and team members, and its data is isolated from every other workspace.

  • The person who creates a workspace is its owner and is responsible for it, including its subscription.
  • Owners and admins may invite team members and assign roles that determine what each member can do.
  • You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, plans, and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual term.

  • Your plan determines your entitlements, including how many finished content pieces SYNDIC HQ may produce for you each month, how many platform destinations you may connect, and how many team members you may have.
  • Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • If a payment fails, we may restrict production, scheduling, and publishing until it is resolved.
  • We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

4. Production allowance

Your monthly production allowance counts finished content pieces that SYNDIC HQ produced for you. Content you created or uploaded yourself and are only scheduling or distributing through the Service does not consume that allowance. Allowance resets each calendar month and does not carry forward.

5. Connecting your own accounts

The Service lets you authorize your own social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit, through each platform's official authorization flow.

  • You confirm that you own each account you connect, or are authorized to manage it.
  • Each workspace authorizes and owns its own connections. We never publish your content through another customer's connection, and we never publish another customer's content through yours.
  • You grant us permission to perform only the actions you request, such as scheduling an approved post or handing you a draft.
  • You may disconnect any account at any time, which revokes our stored access to it.
  • Some platforms do not permit direct publishing for every content type. Where that is the case, the Service prepares a draft or an export for you to post yourself rather than claiming to publish it.

Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and policies.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, generate, or publish through the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe the rights of others. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transform, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • publish content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • spam, artificially inflate engagement, or otherwise violate a connected platform's policies;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties outside your own workspace without our written agreement;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, another workspace, or our infrastructure.

8. AI-generated material

The Service uses AI models to help draft copy and generate images and video. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Generated material passes through a review step, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving anything before it is published or distributed.

9. Availability and third-party dependencies

The Service depends on third-party APIs and may be interrupted, rate limited, or changed by those providers. The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the successful delivery of any individual post.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if payment fails, or where required to protect the Service or a connected platform.

After a workspace is cancelled or terminated, its data is retained and then permanently deleted in accordance with the retention and deletion commitments set out in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and is the canonical statement of those commitments. That retention window is currently 30 days, so export your content before it closes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version is published with a version number and effective date, and earlier versions are retained. Material changes will be communicated to workspace owners. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
