Version 2
This Fair Use Policy governs reasonable use of SYNDIC HQ. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service, and accepting the Terms includes accepting this policy.
Its purpose is to keep the Service fast, reliable, and in good standing with the social platforms you connect, for every customer.
1. One workspace, one business
A workspace is licensed for the business that subscribed to it.
- Do not use a single workspace to run content operations for unrelated businesses or clients unless we have agreed to that in writing.
- Do not share a single user account between people. Add team members instead, within your plan's limits.
- Do not resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own.
2. Production allowance
Your plan includes a monthly allowance of finished content pieces that SYNDIC HQ produces for you.
- One finished, usable content piece consumes one unit of that allowance.
- Content that fails, times out, or produces nothing usable does not consume allowance, and neither does work our own systems retry.
- Regenerating or revising a piece you already have does not consume a further unit.
- Content you create or upload yourself and only schedule through the Service never consumes production allowance.
- Allowance resets each calendar month and does not carry forward.
Deliberately triggering failed or wasteful production to obtain more output than your plan provides is a breach of this policy.
3. Automation and platform rules
The Service publishes on your behalf to platforms with their own rules.
- Respect the posting frequency, spacing, and content rules of each platform you connect.
- Do not use the Service to spam, post repetitive or near-duplicate content at scale, artificially inflate engagement, or operate coordinated or misleading accounts.
- Do not attempt to bypass a platform's rate limits, review processes, or publishing restrictions.
- Where a platform does not permit direct publishing for a content type, use the draft or export path we provide rather than trying to circumvent it.
A platform's own terms always apply to your use of that platform, in addition to ours.
4. AI generation
- Review generated material before it is approved, scheduled, or published. You are responsible for what goes out under your name.
- Do not use generation to impersonate real people or organizations, to fabricate endorsements, quotes, or credentials, or to produce misleading claims about products, results, or people.
- Do not attempt to use the Service primarily as a general-purpose AI generation endpoint unrelated to your own content operations.
5. Technical fair use
- Do not attempt to access another workspace's data, credentials, or connections.
- Do not probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Do not automate the Service through unofficial interfaces in ways that place disproportionate load on it.
6. Prohibited content
Content produced or distributed through the Service must not be unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, sexually explicit, or infringing. The acceptable use rules in section 7 of the Terms apply in full.
7. How we enforce this
Our aim is to talk to you first.
- If usage looks unfair or unsafe, we will normally contact you and give you a chance to correct it.
- We may throttle or pause production, scheduling, or publishing where continuing would risk your connected accounts, other customers, or the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, or where we must act immediately to protect the Service or comply with a platform's requirements.
- Where we restrict a workspace, you keep access to read your account, view your existing content, and manage or cancel billing.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Each version is published with a version number and effective date, and earlier versions are retained. Where a change is material we will ask you to accept the new version.
